Terms of service
Terms and conditions
Last updated: 14 October 2026
1. Seller and scope
These terms apply to purchases from projectoptimal.net. Your seller and contractual partner is Alexander Piotr Duda, trading as Project Optimal, Seitenstettengasse 5/37, 1010 Wien, Austria. GISA registration number: 40141329. Customer support: support@projectoptimal.net. Business enquiries: business@projectoptimal.net. Further business information is available in our legal notice.
Mandatory consumer rights take precedence over these terms. Shopify provides the shop platform; your purchase contract is with Project Optimal, not Shopify or our production partner.
2. Products and production
We sell clothing featuring our standard designs. Products are made after an order is placed. They are not personalised to an individual customer's specifications merely because a standard size, colour or garment type is selected. Production on demand does not by itself exclude the statutory right of withdrawal.
The product page identifies the garment, material, colour, available sizes and price. Please use the size guide before ordering. Screen settings may affect colour appearance; this does not limit your rights if the delivered goods do not conform to the agreed description.
3. Ordering and contract formation
You can select products, review your basket and correct your choices and delivery details before submitting your order. By selecting the final payment-obligation button at checkout, you place an order with an obligation to pay. The purchase contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation by email. If you do not receive a confirmation, contact support@projectoptimal.net.
Orders and these terms are provided in English. You can save or print these terms and your order confirmation. A customer account is not required to place an order.
4. Prices and payment
The applicable product price, currency, shipping costs and order total are displayed before you submit your order. Product prices include any applicable VAT. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. Payment is collected through the selected payment provider; production starts after successful payment.
Your payment to us is for the goods ordered. We are responsible for arranging production with our supplier. Our supplier's charges do not create a separate production-payment obligation for you.
5. Delivery and shipping costs
Delivery takes up to 14 working days, including production, from receipt of payment. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. We deliver to destinations available at checkout. Items may arrive in separate parcels. We will inform you of delays; your statutory remedies remain unaffected.
Shipping costs are shown before purchase. Orders with two or more items qualify for free standard shipping in all countries to which we deliver; two units of the same item also qualify. Details are in our shipping policy.
Risk of accidental loss or damage passes to a consumer when the consumer, or a nominated third party other than the carrier, receives the goods, subject to mandatory legal exceptions.
6. Customs and import charges
Project Optimal does not collect customs duties or import taxes through its checkout. Depending on the delivery destination and shipment origin, customs authorities or the carrier may require customs duties, customs-clearance fees or other applicable import charges that have not already been prepaid. Any such charges payable at delivery are the customer's responsibility. They are not included in the free-shipping offer and are determined by the relevant authority or carrier. Product prices include applicable VAT; this is not a guarantee that every destination-specific import charge has been prepaid.
Please check your destination's import requirements before ordering, or contact us for available shipment information. This clause does not override mandatory consumer rights.
7. Withdrawal, cancellations and returns
Consumers have the statutory right to withdraw from an eligible online purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods. For separately delivered goods in one order, the period starts when the last good is received. The procedure, return address, model withdrawal form and reimbursement rules are set out in our withdrawal policy.
Customers bear the direct return shipping costs for ordinary withdrawal. No restocking fee is charged. A statutory withdrawal does not require our prior approval. You may try clothing on as you would in a shop; diminished value may be charged only as permitted by law for handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.
You can submit eligible return and cancellation requests through your customer account, or send an unequivocal withdrawal statement to support@projectoptimal.net or to our business address. The account function does not restrict other statutory methods of withdrawal. We may be unable to stop a parcel already in transit, but this does not remove your statutory withdrawal right.
8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Your statutory warranty and conformity rights remain unaffected. If goods are defective, damaged, incorrect or not delivered as agreed, contact support@projectoptimal.net with your order number and a description. Photos are helpful but are not a general condition for exercising your legal rights. Costs we must bear in remedying a valid defect claim are not shifted to you by the ordinary-return-cost provision.
Our production partner's internal claim deadlines do not limit your statutory rights against Project Optimal. Your rights are not replaced by vouchers or store credit unless you agree where legally permitted.
9. Personal information
Information about the processing of personal data is provided in our privacy policy. Newsletter subscription is optional and is not required to purchase goods.
10. Consumer protections and changes
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or remedies where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law. Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined by the relevant legal rules; these terms do not require consumers to bring proceedings exclusively in Austria or waive mandatory protections in their country.
The terms available when you place your order apply to that order. Later changes do not retrospectively alter an existing purchase contract or reduce rights you have already acquired.
